About Us
Seeing God’s work here on Earth as it is in Heaven
Australian Churches of Christ Global Mission Partners is a Christian mission organisation focused on restoring, resourcing, and inspiring communities in need across the world. For 130 years we’ve put love and faith into action through high-impact, long-lasting, local-led partnerships.
Our History
130 years of love and faith in action
Humble beginnings
Formerly known as the Australian Churches of Christ Overseas Mission Board, our story began in 1891 as the Churches of Christ Foreign Missions Committee. We’ve spent more than 130 years investing in life-changing partnerships with churches, individuals, and communities locally and abroad, seeing lives changed through our three key areas of work: relief and development, church partnerships, and Australian Indigenous ministry.
The why behind the how
We long to see a world where every Christian is active in God’s mission, offering hope, love, and restoration throughout the world to people who need it the most. We’re also strong believers that our mission must work alongside what God is already doing in local communities, and in partnership with the local people. This is why we partner with people on the ground and resource them to be the change they want to see in their communities. Whether partnering with local churches, working with Indigenous communities, or providing critical relief and development projects to help break the cycle of poverty, we’re 100% committed to helping people find their voice and change their lives.

What We Do
Church Partnerships
We partner with local churches and Christian leaders to support them with church planting, Christian leadership development, and sharing God’s love in their communities.
Relief and Development
We support vulnerable people in Asia, Africa, and the Pacific to help them break the cycle of poverty through high-impact community development.
Indigenous Ministries
In partnership with Indigenous Australians, our Indigenous-specific ministries focus on exploring new ministry practices, supporting Indigenous communities, and raising a new generation of Christian leaders.
Emergency Response
In an emergency, we provide high-impact relief by resourcing locally-led partners that are well-positioned to act quickly. We also work with trusted organisations through ACT Alliance to respond to disasters around the globe.
